The Green Dream

A few have wondered why I am opposed to taking care of the environment. Why am I not fully onboard with the greatest threat to earth, Global Warming, or Climate Change, or whatever it is called now. Let’s get into it, shall we?

First off, I care very much for the environment. Ecosystems are a marvel of natural order. When something changes, other things adjust to compensate. When a food supply becomes scarce, what eats that food either becomes scarce as well, or moves off to someplace more plentiful. The system naturally recovers or things become the new normal.

I am very much against polluting water and messing with the natural flow of streams and rivers. Often these kinds of things cause additional issues downstream. For instance, dams are a great way to contain and regulate the flow of water (and generate electricity), however they also can cause incredible damage if they are unable to compensate for inflows, or if there is a dam failure. The resulting flow of water can cause loss of life and habitat.

However, I’ll also point out that should the above disaster happen, nature will reclaim and restore an order. It just may not be the order we humans would want.

Now moving on to….well what to call it? The name has changed often. I’ll go with Climate Change, but we know we are really talking about human-caused global warming. This has been the rallying cry for many for several decades.

I’m not going to debate the cause, as there are several blogs and other resources that are more equipped to do it than I. I will state that I believe human impact on global temperatures is low, low enough that it gets lost in the statistical noise. I will also state that the global temperature fluctuates naturally, like every other thing on the planet.

My main issue is that Climate Change is being used as a tool for other than its stated purpose. It was sold to the public as a world-wide human emergency. Something must be done NOW to prevent…something. They sold it several ways. To prevent sea level rise, as if that is a problem. To prevent loss of crops, as if things won’t grow in the newly warmer areas. You get my point.

But behind the scenes, the goal is really about several other things.

First, it is a way to gather global control over the population. Humans just can’t seem to shake this lust for power. I wish we could, but humans have a need to gather and keep resources. Perhaps it is a latent holdover from our hungry tribal past. Some call it greed, but it really is about survival.

Second, it is about taking money from “rich” nations and giving it to poorer nations. This is supposedly with the goal that the poor nations will suddenly catch up to the others. As if all that they were lacking was money. What this really is about is making the poor countries dependent on those providing money to them, the same way they treat the poor in the US. (again about control)

The pilfering is done via taxes and carbon credits (another tax). It is also via intentionally unobtainable regulation, as we see with the Paris Accords and other agreements.

See, the Green Dream really isn’t about taking care of the planet. It is about collecting the Green (money) from the public and using it for their own purposes.  It is a vehicle to push a social change and to bring about a one world government, with them at the top.

Should those who are pushing this Green Dream succeed, I see very bad things for most people. People will be treated, much like they are now, as just a source of income for those at the top. Those who resist will be dealt with. Those in power will consolidate more and more power.

Until one day, the bottom drops out. The population will stop providing resources and the those on the top will panic and try very hard to regain control. It will push the population into massive turmoil and there will be loss of life.

We see this kind of thing happen through out history. Most recently in Venezuela.

You see, the Green Dream is the co-opting of the environmental movement by the Socialists and Globalists. It is truly all about control and power, via any means necessary.

Like the dam failure, the loss of life will be large, but in the end, nature will restore an order to things.
